We Have The Season's Hottest Colors.

According to the experts at butter LONDON, a huge part of your fall and winter wardrobe will extend beyond your sweater, all the way to the tips of your fingers. This season, your nail color will reveal your different fashion "personalities" and brighten up the otherwise monochromatic fashion trends. We asked butter LONDON's creative director, Nonie Creme to fill us in on this season's hottest shades.

British Racing Green:

The international motor racing color of Great Britain. This green used to be the standard paint color on all Formula One race cars in the days before sponsorship.

British Racing Green will be the "go-to" dark shade. It's unusual presence gives a fashion punch, and was the baskstage darling at this season's shows.

Minger:

British street slang for an ugly person. "Did you see that face? What a minger!"

Minger is an edgy burnt orange like the one featured on the Philip Lim and Prada catwalks, and feels simultaneously bright and muted. This polish is serious, as opposed to "hot" or "happy", and very in this season.

Pearly Queen:

A Pearly Queen is a woman dressed in a traditional Cockney costume covered in mother-of-pearl buttons.

A winter white, Pearly Queen, is a clean modern nail option against the sea of dark clothing. The pearl sheen adds softness and depth, making it beautifully wearable.

Scoundrel:

An unprincipled, dishonorable person, villain, or scamp. Your ex-boyfriend, your builder, and your boss rolled into one.

Scoundrel is this season's "chameleon" color. It is a medium tone purplish-mauve that can appear darker or lighter depending on what clothing you are wearing, maximizing it's use as a wardrobe staple.

Rosie Lee:

Cockney Rhyming slang for a cup of tea. "Put the kettle on Love, I fancy a Rosie Lee."

And now for some FUN! Rosie Lee is a parade of pink glitter that feels lighthearted without being too "young"or "silly". This shade will give life to any outfit and bring a smile to your face during the dark winter months.

So put away those conservative colors and have a little fun with your polish!  Of course, nails aren't the only way to spice up this seasons wardrobe. Our fashionista reviews the six trends that guys hate, or perhaps you need to transition your home for the season.  We have the latest tips and trends, all on iMag.
