Top Style from a Designer Show HouseYes, the 2009 Kips Bay Decorator's Show House is over, but that doesn't mean you can't bring some of its inspiration into your own home. This year, top designers from around the country decorated a Manhattan townhouse to the nines to benefit the Boys and Girls Club. Each of the 27 rooms exploded with color, creativity and innovation. If only we could call it our own. While we can't move in, we've picked out some of our favorite accents and have given you similar options to keep both your home and your wallet happy. Enjoy!

Warmth in ShadeThe importance of good lighting is often overlooked, leaving rooms either too bright or poorly lit. But good lighting often has to do with your lampshades. We immediately felt cozy in Joe Nye's sitting room, where he used these beautiful Georges Le Manach lampshades. But you can easily emulate this look without spending a fortune, and add a unique touch to your lighting at the same time.
Georges Le Manach lampshades, $600 each
Large Vintage Fabric Lampshade, $69.95, Dot and Line Home Accessories

Mirror, mirror...These beautiful mirrors provided an extra sparkle to Charles Pavarini's glacial lounge. Their unique design will surely make heads turn when placed on any wall, and can be incorporated into many design schemes. While the originals, by designer David Rockwell, might be out of your price range, you can recreate your own mirrors with sets sold at CB2.
The Cluster Rings Mirror by David Rockwell, $700.00 - $2,000.00 at dennismiller.com
Aluminum Mirrors, 5 for $59.95, CB2

Mad for IkatChristopher Maya certainly knew how to draw people in, as he chose this vibrant Ikat fabric for the chairs in the foyer. And while Ikat can get busy if there's too much of it around, it's great as an accent on fabric, or on a solo piece of furniture. You can achieve the same type of look with our pick from Urban Outfitters.
John Bermingham Ikat Fabric, $150/yard, John Bermingham & Co.
Ikat Slipper Chair in Indigo, $325.00, urbanoutfitters.com

Store in StyleWe loved the coffee table Charlotte Moss chose for the sitting room of the master bedroom. It's casual and functional, perfect for a comfortable and cozy environment. While Charlotte bought this French-made woven rattan many years ago, you can still recreate this look for your own home with our pick from Pottery Barn.

Pillows that PopNothing looked more chic than the outdoor terrace on the fifth floor of the townhouse (left), designed by Plant Specialists. We loved the black and white pillows that added some cushiony comfort to the chaise lounges. If you want the same look, either indoors or out, you can find a similar look at CB2.
Kivet Color 2, $42.00/yard, Marimekko Fabrics
Daisy Pillow, $19.95, CB2

Planter VasesWe loved the "His Master Bathroom" by Gunkelman Flesher. What says "guy" better than an oversized leather chair in a bathroom? The accents were bold, too. The green planter vases at the base of the leather chair added color to an earthy room. Planters can go anywhere - inside or outdoors - and they can serve as a means of storage, too. While the Show House vases, from Mecox Gardens are great, we found comparable ones at Pottery Barn.
Earthenware Lichen Green Glazed Vase, $185.00, mecoxgardens.com
Saigon Planters, $79.00-$129.00, potterybarn.com

Posh Throw PillowsIt was all about the details in the home office designed by Lisa Cousins and Natasha Begreen. From patterned paint on the walls to fun fabrics, the home office had a rustic theme. The Charlotte Moss throw pillows punctuated this with faux wood-grained printed linen. Love the look? We found strikingly similar pillows on Etsy.
